Our weekend morning ritual
I’ve written about my love of Kicking Horse Coffee before but I wanted to share with you how I make my perfect cup of coffee using almond milk and agave nectar.

As I make my way though the store directory, I am finding all kinds of hidden gems in typical stores that are American made. Buying more products made in the USA is just the beginning. As a Canadian, I still throw in a lot of made in the USA stuff simply because between our two countries, we manufacture more than enough of what I need and I never have to settle on anything “just because”.
More →I’m sometimes asked how, or what I use to promote made in Canada and made in USA products and the companies that make and sell them via my personal brand, In Country with Melissact & Friends. More →As I sat in my car today, driving to the office, it occurred to me that I was surrounded by – and wearing almost exclusively – made in Canada and made in USA goods. Unlike a lot of people out there, I actually practice what I… rant and rave about ;) Here are some of the different brands I buy. Most of these companies are on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube as well. You can follow my made in Canada Twitter list here and my made in USA Twitter list here both of which I update on a daily basis.
