As many of you already know, March is Nutrition Month in Canada (and USA) so in my first segment I focused on healthy Canadian made foods. Foods from Shoal Lake Wild Rice, Earth’s Own almond and rice milks, delicious Raincoast Crisps and Vega’s plant based health supplements.

Kootsac is based out of (you guessed it) the Kootenays, British Columbia. The owner, Morgen Bardati, is really kind and talented and also fully embraces social media, which is aces on my books! She manufacturers her reusable bulk and produce bags in various sizes and colours. Made in Canada, good for the environment.
